Opononi Accommodation

Opononi Lighthouse Motel has twelve units available for accommodation, year-round:

• Units 1, 2 and 4 consist of two bedrooms, with a queen-size bed in one bedroom and twin beds in the other.
• Unit 3 is open plan (curtains dividing one bedroom/lounge) with a queen-size size bed, twin beds in a separate bedroom and a sofa bed in the lounge.
• Units 6 and 10 are one-bedroom units with a queen-size bed in the bedroom and lounge chairs in the lounge.
• Units 5, 7, 8 and 9 are one-bedroom units with a queen-size bed in the bedroom and a single bed in the lounge.
• Unit 11 is an open plan wheelchair-friendly unit with queen size bed, 2 singles and a sofa bed.
• Unit 12  is a studio unit with queen size bed and tea/coffee making facilites.

Units 1-11 have self contained kitchens, including microwave, kettle, toaster and 2 hob elements. All 12 units have their own toilet & shower facilites. All units at the Opononi Lighthouse Motel have been renovated, most have lovely garden or sea views, each with their own deck. There is an undercover barbecue area and private spa pool available to guests, plus a laundry.

We are happy to accommodate large groups with discount bookings.

There are very good takeaways and a hotel restaurant within walking distance, plus a Post Office and small foodmarket store nearby.
